Title: Esthetics Educator
Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing
Compensation: $30/hour, non-exempt
Location: Remote; must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Employment Type: Part-time, 20-25 hours/week to start. Up to 30 hours/week after 3 months. Some weekends may be required when necessary for training + event support.
This newly created position will work closely with our Director of Sales & Marketing to help achieve our brand’s goals for mindful growth and account longevity, with a primary focus on establishing our position as an authority in herbalist-created skincare and elevated education in the wholesale channel. This position will also manage a small portfolio of local partners while providing occasional on-site support for non-managed partners.
To succeed in this role, you should be:
- A licensed Esthetician (non-negotiable), with a strong preference for someone already trained in holistic facial modalities like MLD, Gua Sha, Reflexology, advanced massage, etc.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the green beauty industry and/or herbalist-created skincare, with relevant industry experience and a strong desire for long-term professional growth with Laurel Skin.
- Comfortable with public speaking and being on camera, with a dynamic and charismatic personality to effectively engage with all our partners, from independent Esthetician owners to high-level executives at luxury hotels/resorts.
- Willing and able to travel, both locally and out-of-state, as needed to support training and event efforts; up to 10% travel per quarter.
- Thoughtful, supportive, and heart-centered - thank you cards, meal sharing, and relationship building should be second nature.
- Organized, self-motivated, and highly detailed with the ability to gracefully adapt to changing situations and prioritize time-sensitive demands to meet deadlines.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $30/hour (non-exempt), plus quarterly commission potential after 3-6 months.

Responsibilities:
- Training, Education + Events
- Host regular group webinars via Zoom for existing wholesale partners.
- Create new content based on partner needs, industry trends, brand launch calendar, etc. – including topic curation, research, script writing, and presentation design.
- Present all brand, product, and ingredient information confidently, effectively, and in line with brand standards.
- Assist with implementation and management of new Wholesale Education Library, including: Recording on-demand webinar content.
Creating high-quality, hands-on video tutorials for all Laurel Skin protocols.
- Research alternative hosting platforms and guide transition from current platform, if needed.
- Manage existing Laurel Skin Pros FB group and develop new Laurel Skin Pros IG page.
- Research alternative community platforms to provide the most authentic and engaging experience for our wholesale partners.
- Support Director of Sales & Marketing and/or Business Development Manager with on-site training for Key Partners, including:
- Presenting brand + product information.
- Hands-on demonstrations of Laurel Skin protocols.
- Training partner Estheticians in advanced facial techniques.
- Contribute to the planning + execution of large-scale, company-hosted training events, including Laurel Skin Intensive, Holistic Esthetics Retreat, Regional Trainings, etc.
- Provide internal brand + product training to Laurel Skin team, including new hire onboarding, product launches, department-specific training, etc.
- Attend trade-shows and industry events to support new business development initiatives.
Partnership Management – after 3 months
- Directly manage a small list of local wholesale partners.
- Includes regular check-in calls/meetings, order processing, education and event support, and any other sales/marketing needs.
- Handle inbound wholesale applications as assigned by Director of Sales to grow your account portfolio.
- Includes vetting applicants to ensure alignment with our brand values, reviewing treatment catalog and assisting with menu development, opening order creation, launch training, and ongoing account management.
Additional Responsibilities – as needed
- Support Director of Sales & Marketing with local presence for Bay Area Key Partners, including dropping off new product launches/marketing materials, retail merchandising/tester checks, etc.
- Support Marketing Manager with creation of product/usage video content for social media, website, and/or email marketing.
- Host/co-host tours and/or events at the Laurel Skin Barn for wholesale partners, affiliates, PR contacts, direct customers, etc.
