YuBalance is hiring an Assistant Fitness Manager to serve as one of the most prominent members of our senior leadership team.
ASSISTANT MANAGER SUMMARY:
Assistant Managers are responsible for daily operations at Yubalance Neighborhood Fitness Club including personal training & group fitness, sales & marketing, customer service and team development. You must be passionate about fitness, a competitive spirit with ability to inspire others.

Our 45 Minute High Intensity Full Body Strength Training Classes and 30 Minute Personal Training Sweat-Sessions are conveniently located in your neighborhood.
Currently located in two communities in San Francisco - Inner Sunset and Noe Valley
ASSISTANT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn to Master, Teach (and ultimately train people to teach) our signature High Intensity Full Body Strength Training Workouts (Classes and Personal Training).
Help maintain and grow the strength, confidence and sense of community within everyone on our team and Yubalance members alike.
Motivate the team to achieve our weekly, monthly and annual membership goals.
Analyze KPIs including memberships, new client conversions, attendance, etc. to drive sales.
Teach and Train during most, if not all, shifts in order to interact with members, maintain a quality studio experience and coach new hires on procedures.
Maintain optimal schedules by managing class calendars, work shifts, sub requests, and payroll budgets/expenses.
Help foster a positive, diverse and hard-working team environment by hiring, onboarding and training all positions. Identify opportunities for promotions and facilitate documentation to respectfully resolve staffing issues.
Organize grassroots events, such as theme or charity classes, corporate events, and promotions. Ensure the team executes events to company standards. Report on the success of events to the senior leadership team (attendance, ROI, etc) to support future campaigns and partnerships.
Identify community partnership opportunities by networking with members, building relationships with businesses (restaurants, condos, hotels, work spaces, schools, etc) and identifying fitness engagement opportunities, such as panels or conferences.
Lead monthly team meetings to provide clear direction and reinforce company standards.
Oversee the management of our social media accounts by creating content and responding to comments and reviews on all social sites, such as Instagram, Facebook, Google and Yelp.
ASSISTANT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
Confident in your ability to help develop and lead a team of high performing fitness professionals and part time group fitness instructors.
Excited to inspire leads through social media, email marketing and community events.
Drive sales by analyzing data to improve performance that inspire team’s success.
Focused and organized when multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self motivated.
Natural people person with excellent communication and customer service skills
2+ years experience as a team leader, assistant manager/manager in a sales environment; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1+ years of professional fitness experience; Personal Training Certification preferred (or Required to obtain)
Punctual, reliable and able to work mornings, evenings and weekends when necessary.
