Blue Waters Kayaking is looking for individuals to join our Weekend Rental Team for our 2024 season. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience when renting our rental Kayak and SUP equipment. The season starts in May and runs until the end of September.
We seek flexible, motivated, and self-reliant individuals to join our Rental team at the Heart’s Desire Beach Rentals location in Tomales Bay State Park with occasional work at our Point Reyes Station site.

Job Responsibilities
Greet and engage with customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with rental equipment selection and answering questions.
Process rental transactions accurately and efficiently using our digital system.
Demonstrate proper usage and safety guidelines for equipment to customers.
Assist with unloading and loading kayaks onto our trailers and help set up and take down the rental area on the beach.
Ensure the rental area and equipment are clean and organized.
Perform routine maintenance checks on rental equipment to ensure it is all in proper working condition.
Assist with inventory management, including cleaning, restocking and replenishing rental equipment. This will sometimes take place at our main office in Point Reyes Station.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
Other duties as directed by site manager.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous customer service experience (preferred).
Basic knowledge of outdoor equipment (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Transportation to and from the work site. The site manager may help with coordinating transportation with notice.
