Selerum is a team of consultants with clients in the Bay Area and our central office is in Richmond shortly after the San Rafael bridge. We are looking for a new consultant to work with us in our central office/remotely. Our clients are non-profits and small businesses who use us as their IT department.
The position is a entry level /experienced position providing technical support for our clients. We work with you to make certain you learn the fundamentals of networking and systems that we support. We are looking for individuals who are curious, have a basic understanding of computers, and a love for resolving problems. This position requires a high level of professionalism at all times. You must be consistent with the policies, goals and objectives of the company. This position will report directly to a Senior Tech. We are looking for entry level tech but are open to people with more experience in which pay rate can be more.
This position is for a full time position that includes health insurance and benefits. We offer flexible work schedules and a great team environment. You are hired for an initial 90 day period with frequent reviews to make certain that you are a great fit with our team. Our team members have worked together for many years and we are looking to add another member to work with us for many years.
You must have the following
Respect for other's views and perspectives.
Understanding with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
Macintosh knowledge a plus.
Excellent technical and customer service skills.
Own vehicle, clean driving record and a valid California Driver's License required.
Valid vehicle registration and insurance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Duties may require use of power drills and other tools.
Duties may require standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
Must be able to travel to clients in the Bay Area.
Residency within 45 minutes travel from Richmond. We value your time and avoid hiring individuals that will require long commute times.
