Title: Information Technology Specialist
Regular Full Time: 40 hrs./week: Monday – Friday
Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 DOE
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

This pivotal role as the Information Technology Specialist is an opportunity to lead and shape the IT infrastructure of Homeward Bound, contributing to the success of our mission to end homelessness. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Homeward Bound can meet the technology needs of a diverse and growing organization.
The Information Technology specialist will work on-site at our Novato, California campus. Some remote work may be allowed, depending on business need, after the 90-day probationary period.

Required Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of technical support operations including printers, desktops, laptops, video conferencing, a UniFi Ecosystem, Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and Exchange, and Salesforce.
Strong understanding of the principles of computer security, particularly in a HIPAA environment.
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred and/or certification(s) in a technical discipline related to IT is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing skills for the creation of documentation.
Valid California drivers license to provide on-site support to multiple facilities in Marin County.
Knowledge of HMIS is a bonus.
Major Responsibilities
1. Hardware & Software Management:
Ensure accountability and proper operation of hardware and software systems while managing proper inventory and lifecycle processes
Develop and enforce IT security policies, user interface standards, and acceptable use guidelines.
Manage IT projects by maintaining schedules, budgets, and deliverables while serving as a project manager
2. Database Oversight:
Work closely with Director of Data Analysis and Data & CalAIM Program Coordinator to administer client databases
3. Employee Support:
Provide day-to-day IT support to Homeward Bound employees by troubleshooting complex to routine requirements for IT support and escalating complex problems to external IT vendors as needed.
