We are a high-end electronic repair shop serving a diverse customer base with expert repairs. We are looking for both experienced Repair Technicians and motivated individuals eager to learn and grow into the role of a Repair Assistant. We have two exciting opportunities:
1. Experienced Repair Technician
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping to train new team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on laptops, desktops (PC and Mac), smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles.
- Perform advanced component-level repairs (screen replacements, motherboard fixes, charging port repairs, battery replacements).
- Install firmware, drivers, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Troubleshoot complex issues like liquid damage, power failures, and overheating.
- Perform data recovery and restore client data.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding repair status.
- Organize your workspace, manage tools, and track parts inventory.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing electronic devices.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS environments.
- Proven hardware repair skills, including motherboard and component repairs.
- Data recovery experience is a plus.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) preferred.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong customer communication skills.
2. Repair Assistant
This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn. You'll support our technicians and gain hands-on experience in a professional repair setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
- Learn to perform basic repairs such as screen and battery replacements.
- Support the organization of workspaces and inventory management.
- Communicate with customers regarding basic inquiries and repair status.
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical skills.
Qualifications:
- A strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and electronics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a tech-related role is a plus but not required.
- Any technical certification or relevant coursework is an advantage.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
