Job Title: Freelance Videographer
Location: Bay Area (events within a 2-hour travel range)
Compensation: $350 - $500 per event (5hrs-10hrs) (based on experience and event scope)

DKG Productions is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Videographer to join our team! We specialize in capturing the magic of events, with a strong focus on Indian weddings. If you are passionate about storytelling, have experience filming culturally rich events, and are skilled in using Sony cameras like the Sony A7S3, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coverage: Film a variety of events, including Indian weddings, corporate functions, parties, and more. You must be familiar with the unique cultural aspects and traditional moments of Indian weddings.
Pre-Event Coordination: Collaborate with clients, planners, and the team to understand the event flow, special moments, and client preferences.
Creative Direction: Use your creative expertise to capture key moments, candid shots, and artistic visuals while maintaining professional standards.
Client Communication: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the process, from pre-event planning to video delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Indian Weddings: Must have prior experience filming Indian weddings and be familiar with the unique customs, traditions, and pacing of these events.
Sony Camera Equipment: Must own or have access to Sony cameras like the Sony A7S3 or equivalent (mirrorless DSLR cameras with 4K capability). Experience with professional-grade stabilization gear and audio equipment is also required.
Reliability and Flexibility: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes on event day.
Communication: Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, event planners, and other team members.
Creative Vision: Ability to bring your own artistic touch while staying true to the client’s vision.
Drone Experience: Familiarity with drone videography (if applicable).
Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of cultural nuances, especially in Indian weddings, to capture important rituals and moments.
Compensation:
Pay ranges from $350 to $500 per event, depending on the complexity of the event and your experience level.
Events are primarily located in the Bay Area and may require travel within a 2-hour radius.
