Air Compressor Technician- min 2yrs experience. Air compressor repair/maintenance or Mechanical/Electro Maintenance experience. Must have own general mechanic tools, Clean drive record, Drug-free. Electrical exp. a plus.
Job Description:
Job Type: Full-time Salary: D.O.E. Starting: $35.00 Hr.
Work off-site from a shop hub. Service, Repair and Maintain Air Compressors on job sites within a 30-45 mile radius from shop daily. Diagnose equipment condition, Communicate with technicians, customers and vendors. Coordinate Parts. Complete job reports (written & computer software use)
· Works Independently
· Use of hand and power tools to service and maintain compressed air equipment
· Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults within compressed air equipment systems and related equipment. Schematic reading and interpreting.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Initiates parts requests for machines
· Preventive Maintenance – Inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement, realigning, etc.
· Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor/manager’s instructions.
· The ability to multi-task repairs and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure job completion.
· Ensure proper safety procedures within the jobsite and all activities, including using hand and power tools, forklift and lift equipment.
· Maintain company vehicle and tools.
· Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical controls (Various voltages of DC, Single phase and 3 phase power) troubleshooting and repairs
