Our busy shop in the Mission needs a small engine/appliance technician to help our two mechanics. This position will involve a paid trial so that you can show us you know how to read a parts diagram, troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and correctly use tools.
Our ideal candidate is even-tempered, punctual, has a good work ethic, and can tolerate an environment where priorities change quickly.
Key skills include:
- Know how to use hand tools properly.
- Basic knowledge of electronics. (On/Off switches, relays/contactors)
- The ability to read parts diagrams
- The ability to interact with customers on a limited basis.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
