We are a San Jose based design & build construction company https://baymaples-sawmill.com/ , specializing using locally salvaged wood, we operate a sawmill where we process salvaged logs into slabs and dimensional lumber for our projects. We are able to mill, kiln dry, process and fabricate into final product, all at our downtown San Jose location.
We are looking for additional carpenters to help with our custom build projects, which consists of custom furniture, shelving, mantles, signs, wall displays, exterior landscape features (pergolas, custom fences, bars, benches, seating, decks, etc) We also do custom welding as part of our custom builds (welding not required for this job), CNC, laser jet and other custom fabrication work.
We are looking for intermediate & experienced level craftsmen/women to help with our operation.
Starting pay is $30-45 an hour depending on experience(with opportunity for advancement) . We offer full medical/dental benefits, paid time off, paid sick days and paid holidays.
