As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a Commercial Electrician to work on various commercial construction projects in the SouthBay area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Electrician.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: This is a prevailing wage job- expected total comp: $112 hr
