Jetton Construction, Inc. of Emeryville is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of residential construction projects. The position requires significant experience in high-quality residential construction, including management and supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow them to orchestrate complicated projects and produce strong results. Superintendents primarily spend their time at the job site and report to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties
● Manage, coordinate and oversee construction work for each project from start to finish
● Deliver project on time and under budget
● Maintain a safe, clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA regulations
● Foster and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all
Qualifications & Skills
● Significant experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry
● Proficiency in Windows operating systems and willing/able to learn new computer software
● Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, architects, subcontractors and the public
● Understanding of and desire to work against racism, sexism and homophobia in the work environment
● Organization, initiative, and motivation to learn on the job
