The Position
Are you ready to join a fun team of creative people? Well, ProExhibits is looking for an exceptionally experienced exhibit woodworker to join our Silicon Valley production team. We’re looking for the right experienced builder who has a natural ability to use their craftsmanship and creativity to build amazing projects. Some nuts and bolts about the job responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and material requirements for
fabrication.
Utilize appropriate measuring tools to prepare layout
Follow standard and procedures for constructing/woodworking exhibits; make repair adjustments as necessary
Use appropriate tools for cutting, shaping and assembling materials
Ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Able to lift 50 lbs.

we would like to hire someone with the following experience, skills, and attributes:
3-5 years of experience in exhibit/event fabrication or scenic set building
Experience in cabinet building
Understanding of carpentry and wood-working
Plastic laminating experience
Working knowledge of the safe operation of hand and power tools
Working knowledge and skill using standard fabrication tools and equipment
Demonstrate ability to follow directions and stay productive without constant supervision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude
Knowledge or ability to learn safety requirements of shop environment
