Residential construction company is San Francisco is seeking an experienced individual to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities and the knowledge and discipline to successfully run 3 - 5 projects concurrently.
Responsibilities & Competencies:
Experience in high-quality residential construction and a broad knowledge of home building in California
Able to read both architectural and structural plans prints and do layout
Create and implement project schedules in construction management software
Manage project information and successfully sequence work, manage jobsite logistics, track materials and personnel
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors
Resolve design discrepancies and review shop drawings
Implement a culture of safety and quality and ensure all working conditions are in compliance with company and government regulations
Ensure a high quality of work consistent with project and company standards
Take initiative and personal responsibility to deliver a project on schedule and on budget
Manage and mentor 8 - 10 staff in the execution of framing and finish carpentry
Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, architects, subcontractors and the public
Participate in close-out activities including punch list and building operations training
Demonstrate advanced problem-solving capabilities and patience when addressing the inevitable issues that arise when working on older homes
