We are seeking a skilled auto mechanic for full time Monday through Friday work. We would like you to have at least 5 years of working experience. Must have your own tools, shop has scan tools, and specialty tools (timing tools, trans jack, pullers and pressers etc.). We are a family owned general automotive repair facility that works on all types of cars current to classic with an extremely high volume of cars. We need a mechanic who is able to do everything from fluid changes to transmission swaps and engine work, can work with others and alone, has a good attitude and positive outlook. We are located in Orinda just off the freeway. Work hours are generally 8am to around 5pm (someone that can stay a bit later if it means completing a job and getting it back to the customer is highly sought after but not required) with breaks and lunch. Uniforms are provided on site, you will need a good set of work boots that keep your feet protected.
Paid holidays, sick pay, vacation pay, and 401k match up to 3% after 1-year probation time.
Pay is anywhere from 20-50an hour depending on experience and work performed any certifications held and renewed will bring more money to the technician.
