Position: Automotive Technician
Location:
Hengehold Trucks, 762 San Antonio Rd, Palo Alto
Schedule:
Mon – Fri, 8 – 5, 40 hours per week
Pay:
$35 - $45 per hour, based on experience. No flat rate.
What You’ll Do:
-Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of light and medium duty trucks (gas and diesel).
-Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brakes, and tune-ups.
-Perform larger jobs like engine and transmission R&Rs.
-Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
-Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
-Weld stuff. We offer training.
-Keep work areas clean and organized.
-Keep track of your time spent on jobs.
What We’re Looking For:
-Experience as an auto technician, 3 years preferred.
-Good driving record.
-Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
-Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
