Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist experienced plumbers in various tasks, including installing pipes and fixtures, repairing
and replacing faulty pipes, and performing routine maintenance.
Demonstrates knowledge of plumbing repair and installations and uses good judgment
addressing areas believed to be of immediate concern or potential future concerns.
Successful candidate will be measured on the performance matrix and expected to perform up
to and exceed the standards attached to employee performance to goal expectations.
Uses, applies and monitors appropriate safety practices and procedures and reports violations
to Lead Plumber or Plumbing Supervisor.
Performs plumbing services and repairs consistent with general accepted plumbing standards
and in accordance with Facilities Plumbing and Drain expectations.
Works independently with little supervision in the completion of assignments with time spent
in the field.
Maintain a clean and organized work spaces and environment.
Learn about different types of plumbing systems and how they function.
Perform tasks as directed by the Lead Plumber or Plumbing Supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to handle sensitive information.
Ability to work with all types of people in varying conditions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
