About the Role
As a Field Technician you will work on a variety of solar installation projects, electrical service upgrades, new roofs coupled with solar, and EV charging stations. You will with the existing crew of a team members of a company that has been in the business for 20 years. Responsibilities include:
Installation of rooftop solar systems, energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging stations
Electrical service upgrades and solar interconnection to the utility
Wiring of solar electrical systems, building solar infrastructure, and electrical wiring/raceways
Installation and wiring of electric vehicle charging stations
Installation and wiring of energy storage systems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent the company on job site with customers and subcontractors
Ensure quality control checklist is adhered to and installations meet our stringent quality and safety standards
Provide leadership and technical expertise to the install crew, including training, development and ensure job satisfaction
Document installation and enter meticulous updates (photographic and written) via Daily Job Site Reports and our project management system, on all working projects to keep everyone on the team informed of progress
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of and experience completing solar installations (Certified electrician or NABCEP certification preferred)
Experience building solar arrays
Experience bending conduit, basic wiring, and adding new circuits to service panels
Experience adding 240 volt appliance receptacle for Level 2 EV charging stations
Willingness to travel throughout San Francisco Bay Area
Ability to lift up to 90 lbs
Ability to safely climb ladders and navigate steep roof planes and surfaces (tile, metal, etc)
Ability to work from construction plans and line diagrams
Must have your own transportation
Attention to detail and a drive for perfection
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications
To take on this important role, you must be a proven leader and problem solver with:
Previous solar installation experience
Electrical experience – you will be required to demonstrate aptitude in required electrical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Excellent documentation skills
Professional appearance and client interaction abilities
