We’re looking for an experienced Framer/Carpenter to join our team and help us continue to exceed expectations in the Bay Area.
Position Overview:
As a Framer/Carpenter, you will play a key role in building the framework for residential and commercial structures throughout the Bay Area. You’ll work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all framing and carpentry work is completed with precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and install wood, steel, or other framing materials for residential and commercial projects.
Build and install doors, windows, stairs, and other structural components.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions and materials required.
Measure and cut materials accurately to the required specifications.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, building codes, and company guidelines.
Collaborate with other team members and subcontractors to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform repairs and adjustments to framing and carpentry as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in framing and carpentry, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
Strong understanding of construction plans and building codes.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA certification is a plus, but not required.
