Seeking handy, caring, competent individual(s) for full or part-time contract work on a beautiful, residential 170 acre nature preserve outside of Felton.
The heart of the work is caring for two horses up to 6 days per week (can be split between people) at 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, also maintaining the barn and cleaning stalls.
In between horse-care, there is also work available consisting primarily of land-management tasks like gardening, planting, removing invasive plant species, compost management, trail and irrigation maintenance and more.
Strong candidates will be comfortable with large animals, consistent, hard-working, have good references and be able to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate clearly.
