We are a busy commercial and residential glass shop in the South Bay area. Our growing business is looking to add a second crew to our team. We seeking to fill multiple positions:
- Skilled Journeyman Glazier (5+ years of experience required)
- Apprentice glazier (2+ years of experience required)
These are NOT entry level positions. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass in various structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Skills required:
Written and verbal English skills.
Physical fitness to carry, lift and hold glass or windows.
Ability to comfortably and safely work on ladders, scaffolding and lifts.
California drivers license with a record acceptable to our insurance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Respect of co-workers and customers.
Work independently and with a team.
Replacement and new construction; commercial window and door installation skills.
Framed and frameless showers installation.
IG replacement.
Glass guardrail installation.
Glass fabrication.
Ability to measure for replacement or new glass products.
Summary:
You will be performing the safe and successful installations of tub and shower enclosures, various glass, mirrors, windows, doors, door hardware, skylights, handrails in commercial and residential settings.
