HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
Requirements:
5 or more years experience diagnosing and repairing all makes/brands/types of heavy diesel equipment
Valid Class B driver license with clean record
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Provide own tools
Basic computer skills
Able to work a regular schedule with overtime as needed
Member in Operating Engineers Union required
Duties:
Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment in the field
Perform small welding repairs
Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions
Repair, replace, or rebuild: engines, transmissions, fuel systems, final drives, steering clutches, electrical and air systems, hydraulic components (including pumps, motors, valves, and all related components)
Prepare required documentation (including service reports, parts lists, and timesheets) in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain assigned company vehicle in proper working order with a clean appearance
Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
