Established General Contractor since 1982. Privately owned and mid-sized residential general contracting company based in the East Bay Area. I am looking for a couple of highly skilled, production with quality journeymen carpenters. You MUST have superior knowledge and are able to perform all aspects of carpentry including framing, foundations and forms, roof framing, siding and other associated tasks. Stairs, setting doors and windows a plus. Applicants MUST be well skilled in residential new construction and remodels. Such as; room additions, ADU's, kitchens, bathrooms and full house remodels. I have several projects in Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, and Alamo. Applicants MUST be easy going and able to work well with others as we have an Excellent environment to work in and a well-established team.
EACH applicant must have at a minimum of SEVEN (7) years' experience as a JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER. In addition, the REQUIREMENTS for these positions are as follows:
1) Ability to read and execute building plans.
2) Reliable truck with proof of insurance.
3) Own most of your own tools typical for your experience level.
4) Be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
5) Follow instructions in detail and be able to work well with a team and independently with minimal direct supervision.
6) Be hard working and have a strong work ethic.
7) Present a professional appearance - clean dressed. Company Shirts will be provided.
8) Be self-motivated and reliable.
9) Speak English (Spanish is also a plus) and be able to communicate and interact with clients in a manner that reflects well on the company.
