Argon West, an established fabrication shop serving retail, film, events, and specializing in props, sets, pop-ups, and more, is seeking talented scenic carpenters and installers for a ONE-DAY INSTALL in Sunnyvale, CA. This opportunity involves the installation of flats, flooring and a sliding barn door for an upcoming series of demo video shoots. Ideal candidates will have experience in both scenic carpentry and residential/finish carpentry and will be required to bring a basic kit.
Requirements:
Experience: Medium skill set, including:
Building and installing scenic elements for film, TV, retail, and photoshoots.
Experience with finish carpentry such as trim work, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork.
Knowledge of various construction techniques and materials.
Self-Management: Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks.
Team Player: Willingness to pitch in, clean up after yourself, and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Communication: Strong communication skills to ensure smooth project execution.
Promptness: Punctuality is essential.
Driving Ability: Having a driver's license and the ability to drive is a plus.
