Laborer/Carpenter Helper
A Santa Rosa based construction company is seeking an experienced Laborer/Carpenter Helper to work on a wide variety of projects including kitchens, bathrooms, whole house remodels and new homes. The projects are based in the Santa Rosa area ranging from Rohnert Park, to Cloverdale, and from Sebastopol to Sonoma. Successful candidates will be assisting journeyman carpenters with demolition, foundations, framing, and finish carpentry.
Duties will include:
Demolition, Excavation for footings, moving materials, job site clean-up
Carpentry: Help Carpenters with interior and exterior carpentry tasks including rough framing and finish carpentry. Rough carpentry tasks will include the construction of concrete forms, floor, wall, and roof framing. Finish carpentry tasks will include the installation of crown moulding, cabinets, base board, doors, closet systems, sidewall shingles, facia, and soffit.
Job requirements:
Two years’ minimum verifiable construction related experience
Have reliable transportation and current driver’s license
Clean DMV record
Be able to lift heavy items up to 80 pounds
Must be an on-time performer
Pay and Benefits:
$35.00 per hour
