San Jose based Silicon Valley Site Services is looking for a full time Account Manager to manage landscape and facility maintenance accounts as well as exterior renovation projects for multi-unit family complexes (i.e. condos, townhomes, apartments).

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Overall
- Primarily responsible for the overall customer relationship
- Visit job site regulary and Scheduled in person interactions with Prop mgr. and board members
- Identify Maintenance issues and work to resolve issues before they become problems
- Update our internal customers service on job status & completion
- Work with SVSS customer Service and field personnel to take care of work orders and projects
- Answer all customer questions and relay issues to the field supervisor
- Update and inform management of status and progress related to all jobs
Estimating
- Create estimates based on customer needs - proactive and reactive
- Have sales sheet updated and follow up on bids to close them out (won/loss)
- Answer customer questions regarding bids and provide alternatives when necessary
- Present service proposals to Board (usually night meeting)
Production
- Manage contracts and schedule
- Coordinate and hire for new service jobs
- Ensure new service jobs have materials necessary and follow up with regularly
- Quality control for service contracts regularly
- Work with superintendent to make sure are their needs are met
- Explain work orders to subcontractors
- Explain contract to Foreman and lay out job (contract)
- Mark for USA when necessary and call it in
- Create and submit change orders
- Follow up on subcontractors for work orders for completion and quality control
- Check for job completion and punch lists
- Communicate completion status to CS so they can contact customer
Depending on the level of experience, salary starts at $80K and can increase from there. Company benefits include medical, 401K, bonus and profit sharing plan, vehicle, PTO and cell phone.
