Looking for experienced CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

General Building Contractor in Rohnert Park has steady work throughout Sonoma, Napa & Marin counties. We have been in business since 2009. Our primary portfolio of services support both Residential and Commercial Construction. Our client base includes property management companies, investors and homeowners. We are looking to expand our team leaders to work with Field Operations and our Subcontractors. We value honesty and integrity.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

As the Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of implementing/executing project deliverables and fostering customer relationships. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence. The project manager represents the company; therefore, must take responsibility for the overall job, be well-organized, punctual with good communications skills.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to manages multiple jobs simultaneous.

Receives hand-off of jobs contracted scope of works from General Contractor/Estimator.

Implement, execute and manage project plan.

Manage financial budget on projects.

Identifies resources, equipment, and materials as needed to manage job expectations.

Schedules, coordinates resources (field workers and General Contractors/Subcontractors) to meet all project deliverables.

Routine on-site inspections to ensure quality of scope of work is being met.

Provide documentation as needed to meet billing requirements & client expectations.

Maintains written communication with clients and office staff.

Provide routine project status updates to General Contractor.

Report any Risk/Issues of project to General Contractor.

Submits approved purchase orders, invoices and expense reports to office staff.

Additional Responsibilities:

Be able to read/understand Architectural/Structural Engineering plans.

Sketch out floor plans of projects.

Lead safety meetings with crew

Ensure all job sites have Safety Manuals & First Aid kits.

Reports all Safety Incidents to Office Management immediately.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with site managers, clients, and other stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)

5-7 years of relevant industry experience in construction estimating is a plus.

Proficiency in Xactimate software and experience in preparing construction estimates

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus

Ability to work on-site in Rohnert Park, CA and travel to surrounding areas.

OSHA 30+ Certified is beneficial.

Bilingual (speaking/writing) is a plus.

Valid driver’s license with clean record.

High school diploma/GED.

Must be able to pass background investigation with at least 3 job references.
