This role is an hourly wage role only that includes medical, dental,401k and a stipend for cell phone use after 90 days of employment is completed. Role is also required to clock in and out of work everyday via Jobtread.
1.Journeymen are expected to have advanced knowledge and skills in carpentry. This includes proficiency in techniques, tools, and materials relevant to their specialty.
2. Ability to interpret and work from construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and plans.
3.Performing installation, repair, maintenance, and construction tasks according to industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
4.Adhering to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. This includes using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures.
5.Ensuring that work is completed to high quality standards, including proper measurements, accurate installations, and attention to detail.
6. Identifying and troubleshooting issues that arise during construction projects and finding effective solutions to overcome challenges.
7.Working closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to coordinate tasks, share information, and ensure project timelines are met.
8. Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction with the completed work.
9.Maintaining and caring for tools, equipment, and machinery used in their trade to ensure they are in good working condition and safe to use.
10. Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made to project plans or specifications.
11.Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions accurately to ensure precise measurements and cuts.
