Oil Recycling Technician / Driver
Job Overview:
We are a family-owned used oil collection company servicing the Bay Area. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Oil Recycling Technician / Driver to join our team, specializing in collecting and discharging Used Cooking Oil (UCO) for recycling.
You will be responsible for retrieving UCO from various clients, weigh ticket and offload UCO at the Richmond discharge terminal. Follow assigned routing per management, document quantities per pick up location, take photos and fill up service app and safety logs.
Skills / experience we are looking for in applicants:
- Must have a valid class C driver’s license, class B a plus
- Clean driving record
- Operate a truck. Follow set daily routes (on time performance)
- Load and offload truck at customer locations and disposal facility
- Document all actions (i.e., collection volumes, weigh tickets and route edits) via electronic logging device
- Clean out sediments from drums / tanks using hoses following compliance regulations
- Build sustainable relationships with customers
- Work well independently and have a strong work ethic
- Have a flexible work schedule
- Understand traffic rules and regulations in a commercial vehicle and be courteous on the road
- Speak English
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
- Team player
Must be available for full time.
Job Type: Full-time
Full benefits after 3-month probation period.
Pay: $25+ DOE
