Job Description:
We are looking to hire an experienced Porter to work with the maintenance team. This position is responsible for making sure a company facility looks neat and presentable to the public. They help uphold the image of the facility by performing basic maintenance tasks including trash removal, cleaning and maintenance of the common areas such as, laundry areas and any other designated areas around the facility. They will also respond to all cleaning emergencies.
To be successful as a Porter you must be willing to follow instructions and be an all-around team player with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Trash removal in all common areas
Maintain the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the grounds
Light maintenance duties
Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
Pulling trash bins to trash compactor for dumping on a daily basis
Making sure trash compactor is clean
Making sure dumpster are clean
Maintenance on trash truck
Picking up bulk items around property
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Porter.
High school diploma or GED
Able to have a flexible schedule
Must be reliable and professional
Prepared to execute all duties in a safe and timely manner
Self motivated
Solid communication skills
Follow orders and work well with others.
Valid driver license.
