East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal has an opening at our Concord facility for a Production Robotic Welding Operator.
We have two robotic welding systems (Lincoln and Motoman). Responsibilities include pre-assembling parts, installing fixtures, loading and unloading parts, and running robotic programs. You must have a minimum of 5 years mig welding experience to operate these machines. Programming experience a plus.
Additional responsibilities include preparing materials (saw, grind, drill, etc) and Mig/Tig weld steel and stainless steel components per instructions or print. As a production welder, you will be working on the same product lines each week. Ability to fabricate the components quickly and accurately and read engineering drawings / blue prints is required.
This position pays $22 - $28 per hour, depending on skill and job history. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience welding in a similar production environment and have a history of successful employment. You must be legal to work in the US and speak fluent English.
