Consulting company seeking 1099 contractor to lead a 24–36-month project related to telecom equipment placement in various private property locations. Candidate will have autonomy and discretion performing the needed task. The contractor will be paid hourly for the anticipated 40-hour work week, but when those hours are worked is up to the contractor. Time off is available and can be coordinated by The Contractor with two-week prior notice.
Requirements:
- Live in/around San Francisco
- Prior experience/training as electrician or understanding of basic electrical systems preferred
- Prior experience with low voltage/telecom system installations preferred
- Ability to visit sites, perform technical oversight taking pictures to document and effectively communicate with property owners or their representatives.
- Ability to understand electrical and low voltage plans a plus.
- Ability to discuss basic contract and economic terms with property owners and their representatives
- High level of integrity, honesty and respect for others in both personal and business relationships
- Great Attitude, Maturity and Independence
- Excellent Organizational, Time-tracking and Reporting skills, with strong attention to detail (experience in project management a huge plus)
- Customer Service focus and Business Writing Skills
- Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word, Salesforce CRM use (preferred but not mandatory)
Job Duties:
Responsible for a portfolio of accounts in San Francisco to be visited and to discuss proposals including equipment installations.
Responsible for performing technical site visits and prepare reports.
Responsible for communication with Project Managers to ensure deliverables are being met
Responsible for scheduling, distributing agendas and conducting monthly Client calls covering their projects, open items and obtaining updates on project timeline
Work with Senior Level Management to resolve project issues, internal processes, and to prepare Financial Proformas for client presentation.
Ongoing Special Projects and administrative duties as assigned.
This position is a 1099 contractor position in the field and remote work from home office.
Paid Hourly at rate commensurate with experience.
