Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Estimator to join our distinguished team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on high-end residential remodeling projects. In this role, you will oversee the entire estimating process, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness in all project bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire estimating process, preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for luxury remodeling projects.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine comprehensive costs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, ensuring estimates are thorough and aligned with project goals.
Present cost estimates to senior management and clients, clearly communicating the basis and details of the estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and the finance department to ensure estimates align with project goals, budgets, and timelines, supporting successful project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
Over 6 years of experience in high-end residential construction estimating, specifically in luxury remodeling.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, essential for accurate cost estimation.
Proficiency in estimating software.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
In-depth knowledge of the local construction market and pricing trends.
