Award-winning, local contractor seeks a "bags on" foreman for solar PV, battery, and other electrical projects in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin.
Duties:
-Lead and manage crew to install, maintain, and repair solar, battery, and electrical systems and equipment
-Ensure efficient and high quality work
-Renovate existing electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations
-Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues
-Keep accurate records of work performed
-Supervise Electrical Trainee
-Communicate with customers and other team members
Required Skills:
-Should be a Certified Electrician registered with DIR (or C-10 with ability to become Certified)
-Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical schematics
-Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
-Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade
-Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
-Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
-Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
-Must be fully comfortable working on roofs and ladders and able to reach, bend, and lift up to 60 pounds for several hours at a time
