Don't miss this chance to advance your career and make a difference in the industry - apply now!About the Role:Your responsibilities will include providing support services, troubleshooting and resolving solar system issues, performing minor equipment replacements, and participating in post-installation final inspections. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of solar and battery systems and their potential problems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. We are looking for a highly skilled and professional PV systems expert with a proven track record of success in solving a wide range of PV and battery system issues. This position requires travel within a 100-mile radius of our main office.As the Simply Solar Inspections Technician, you will:Travel to client sites around the Bay AreaPrepare completed solar systems for final inspectionMeet with building inspectors for post-installation final inspectionsComplete accurate pre-design site inspectionsDiagnose and repair minor system issuesRecord technical corrections for our solar crews and electriciansRequired Skills:Valid CA Drivers license and clean driving recordExperienced with SolarEdge and Enphase PV systemsLG Chem, SolarEdge, and/or Enphase battery experience preferredMinimum 1 year of experience working on solar systems Minimum 1 year of experience working on solar inverters and electrical panels Strong spatial and basic math skills Proficiency with online and mobile-based software toolsMust be comfortable with heights/on roofsExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detailHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to climb stairs and two-story ladders, walk on roofs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, and operate a motor vehicleNice-to-Have SkillsPrior construction experienceWhat we're offering$24- $32 per hour depending on experienceHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance10 days PTO in your first yearPlus 7 paid holidays per year401(k) planAnd more!About Simply Solar:Simply Solar is one of the fastest-growing Bay Area Solar providers, and we’re looking for new members to join our team of motivated, intelligent, and incredible people!
