TILE HELPER
We are looking for tile helpers to work full-time for a well-established Tile Contractor. Our business is mostly referral, therefore, every task and job completed impacts the overall success of the business.
Have 1-5 years as a helper and experience in the remodeling and/or commercial industry.
Able to work independently or part of a team and willing to take direction and learn the trade.
Clean as you go and always leaving job site clean.
Knowledge of Schluter systems and able to prepare various surfaces for tiling by using waterproofing materials a plus.
Knowledge of and able to prep & cut standard tiles, cut mosaic tiles or shapes.
Attention to detail; precise measuring of surfaces, using straight edges, levels & squares.
Knowledge of using power or hand tools to cut and shape tiles to ensure they fit around obstacles, in tight corners, in odd areas.
As an experienced helper, there is an expectation that you have the required tools though we have some tools for use, if necessary.
Must be in good physical condition with no limits on bending, stooping, walking, standing, and ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or more.
You must understand English and communicate effectively, have a positive attitude, helpful, & be able to resolve problems. Must have US work authorization. Must have a valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation & be willing to travel throughout the SF Bay Area for work. We expect reliability & arrival at each jobsite on time.
Work hours are: Monday - Friday, 8 hour day shift with breaks plus 30 minute unpaid lunch.
