Responsibilities
Assist climbers and arborists during pruning, removals, and other tree care operations.
Operate and maintain equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, blowers, and ropes.
Drive company vehicles (including chip trucks or trailers) to and from job sites.
Load, unload, and properly dispose of debris and wood.
Ensure work zones are safe, organized, and compliant with company and OSHA standards.
Perform basic maintenance on tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Communicate clearly with crew leaders and clients as needed.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Experience in tree service, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Team-oriented attitude, safety-first mindset, and willingness to learn arboricultural practices.
