Erin Lane Estate is seeking a skilled Upholsterer / Seamstress to assist with high-quality vintage and antique furniture projects. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with beautiful materials, values craftsmanship, and enjoys being part of a creative, detail-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Sewing and constructing custom cushions, slipcovers, and upholstery components
Assisting with upholstery repairs, restuffing, and minor finishing work
Working with premium fabrics, trims, and vintage pieces
Maintaining clean, precise workmanship aligned with luxury standards
Collaborating on special restoration and styling projects as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Strong sewing skills (industrial or home machine experience welcome)
Upholstery experience preferred, but seamstresses with transferable skills encouraged
Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently and meeting project timelines
Appreciation for vintage furniture, textiles, and design is a big plus
