SWAT Customs in Fremont is looking to add a skilled installer/technician to join our team.
We don't often recruit, but we want to expand our business and are looking for skilled mechanics for the job. Think you're cut out for it? Or think you know someone who might be?
Here's what we're looking for:
Must have automotive shop experience (1-2 years shop experience minimum). Experience in a repair/maintenance shop is the minimum requirement.
4x4/customs/aftermarket installation experience a HUGE plus. Electrical, welding, alignments, shock rebuilds, gears a HUGE PLUS! The more you know the more you'll earn. A rockstar top earner will hit $90k+/yr.
We cannot hire if you have no experience in automotive (repair or custom/4x4). We are not an entry level shop, and cannot hire entry level employees. Our clients expect top notch service. We charge accordingly and we compensate our technicians fairly in order to provide this.
Should have basic tools (specialty tools will be provided by the shop).
The more tools you have, the easier it will make your job. If you're starting with little or no tools you must be willing to quickly invest in the basics.
Positive, optimistic attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to read and understand installation instructions for a wide range of suspension and accessories for cars and trucks.
Must be available full time 40 hours per week.
