Our business continues to grow, and we are looking to add a driver to our San Francisco Bay Area team.
Asia International, Inc. is a premier protein distributor headquartered in Santa Ana with our warehouse services operating out of Long Beach and San Francisco. We are family owned and are proud to work closely with vendors, customers, and our internal team to provide the highest quality meat and the most trusted customer service in our market.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Experience driving a refrigerated cargo van or box truck
- Familiar with making inside deliveries
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Good time management
- Understanding of delivery paperwork
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50+ pound boxes
- Familiar with working in a cold warehouse/processing facility
- Ability to speak Spanish or Japanese is a plus!
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reading a route and loading your truck by hand
- Assisting others with loading their truck(s)
- Inside and outside deliveries
- Maintaining a clean vehicle
- Following the rules of the road
- Making deliveries as far south as San Diego and as far north as Santa Barbara
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Using a hand truck
- Stacking boxes sometimes over 50 pounds
