Pacific Cookie Company is a family-owned business based in Santa Cruz, Ca. We have a retail bakery in Downtown Santa Cruz and a wholesale operation in the Sashmill complex off of River Street. At our wholesale location we produce frozen dough drops and baked cookies for delivery to customers throughout San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pacific Cookie Company Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced position that involves deliveries to businesses in the Bay Area as far north as San Francisco, throughout San Jose and South through Watsonville/Monterey/Carmel. You will be delivering to delis, cafes, grocery stores, hospitals, event centers etc. and handling packages that typically weigh between 10-20lbs and may weigh up to 100 lbs.
Our delivery drivers are the face of Pacific Cookie Company, so we only expect the best in customer interaction and safe and courteous driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and have a level of comfort in a refrigerated cargo van.
Our full-time delivery driver works Monday through Friday starting at 5am until the route is finished for the day which range from 6-8+ hours per day. You will be paid per day at a starting rate of $175 per day and offered medical and dental benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
A valid regular driver's license
Knowledge of Bay Area/ Monterey/ Carmel routes and cities
Clean and safe DMV driving record
Ability to lift heavy products up to 100lbs
A positive and friendly attitude towards customers
Responsibilities:
Early morning loading of boxes for deliveries, checking invoices for accuracy
Operate a refrigerated cargo van for deliveries and ingredient pick ups
Perform daily, on-time deliveries to customers in the San Francisco/Monterey Bay Area
Packaging product for delivery to our cold storage facility in Watsonville
Willingness to work in our packaging department when needed
Clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior)
Maintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation
