Our after-school program is looking for friendly drivers to start immediately. Our program picks up children from schools in Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale and Mountain View Monday through Friday. Passenger van is provided. The students are dropped off at our center in Sunnyvale. Please e-mail us your resume detailing any driving experience and include references. Qualifications
1. Current Driver's License.
2. Clean driving record (we will ask to see a current DMV driving record).
3. Pass background check to allow you to work with children.
4. 18 years or older.
5. Be eligible to work in CA.
6. High School diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
1. Safety-oriented person that is organized and dependable.
2. Learn routes and exhibit ability to effectively pick up and drop off groups of kids. This includes maintaining a schedule without sacrificing safety.
3. Solid communication skills towards both adults and children.
4. Maintain a safe and reasonable environment in the vehicle having 10-15 children.
5. Keep up on vehicle cleanliness and maintenance before and after each shift.
Other Details
1. This position is part-time, Monday through Friday from between 1:00 to 4:00 based on daily schedule. Minimum of 2 hours per day commitment includes driving routes and maintaining vans.
2. Possible additional hours as a teacher's aide if driver exhibits good skills with children.
3. 60 day probation period.
4. Will start work 8/19/2024 if hired
