CHIC (Chic Home Interiors Co.) is a home staging company that designs and installs furnishings for homes in preparation for sale. We seek an experienced and highly effective Warehouse Mover for this part-time position (which may grow into full-time).
Basic duties and responsibilities include
Loading furnishings onto trucks in preparation of staging installations
Unloading furnishings from trucks after staging removals
Assisting the stager during the selection process to move and pack furniture
Unpack and safely store accessories, artwork, and furniture so they can be easily reselected
Maintain a neat, clean, and efficient warehouse so that inventory is ready for installation onto a jobsite
Make repairs to slightly damaged furniture
Clean furniture and accessories to be ready for installations
Assemble furniture
Any other associated duties to benefit the company
Experience and Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years' experience as a mover or working effectively in warehouses
Must be a self-starter willing to complete tasks in a complete and professional manner
Must get along as a team player on a small warehouse team
Must be reliable and ready to show up and work efficiently
Clean driving record and experience driving a 26' box truck is a plus
