ACT 2 Services Inc. is a full service west coast linehaul and local SFO pickup and delivery trucking company in business for over 30 years. We currently are interviewing experienced applicants for Logistics Dispatcher, full time, AM shift, Sunday to Thursday.
Summary: Assists in planning and coordinating all activities for drivers. Has an understanding for planning efficient routing of drivers. Responsible for dispatch operations, effective communication with co-workers and management. Reports service and maintenance issues with equipment. Ensure drivers complete pre and post trip inspections. Computer proficient to respond to emails, entering quotes and new orders in our system, answer customer phone calls.
Applicant must be a goal-oriented friendly team player with the ability to multi-task, have reliable attendance, have an organized attention to detail, and be a pro-active problem solver.
A minimum of one year dispatch experience in the logistics industry required.
