Harmonic Brewing Seeking Account Manager & Delivery Driver

Harmonic Brewing is a thriving San Francisco craft brewery dedicated to bringing people together through great beer. We proudly self-distribute our fresh beer to like-minded retail accounts (bars & restaurants) and provide exceptional customer service. We operate a taproom at Thrive City, adjacent to Chase Center (home of the Golden State Warriors).

The Account Manager & Delivery Driver role is a great opportunity to get started in the craft beer business or advance your beer career, with exposure to all levels of our growing organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Age 21+

- Ability to lift 175 lb kegs repeatedly

- Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to safely drive a mid-sized cargo van (no special license needed)

- Working knowledge of San Francisco streets and all traffic & parking laws

- Strong communication skills & organizational habits

- Positive, problem-solving attitude and dedication to customer service

- Mobile phone literate, especially texting and maps/directions

- Computer-literate, particularly Gsuite

- Experience with sales/account management, Quickbooks online, and spreadsheets are pluses

CORE DUTIES (12-20 HRS PER WEEK)

Roughly 25% of your time is spent at our Thrive City taproom updating and sending our price list to customers weekly, receiving orders via email or text, mapping them to your upcoming delivery routes, and setting up and sending invoices to customers, as well as organizing and updating our beer storage (kegs & cans). 75% of your time is spent picking up beer from our production facility in Richmond (East Bay) and loading into our delivery van, driving independently to deliver beer to bars, restaurants, and markets (mainly in San Francisco and sometimes East Bay or Marin), as well as to our Thrive City taproom.

- Customer account management, including sending sales email, receiving orders, creating and updating invoices, and planning delivery route

- Organization of kegs & cans in our walk-in refrigerator at taproom

- Logging out and loading full kegs & cases of cans into the company van securely and delivering beer along a route, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness along the route

- Collecting empty kegs from customers and our taproom to transfer to production facility

- Ensuring the safety of both yourself and those around you while driving and delivering product

- Chatting with customers as they accept delivery from, and updating manager daily/weekly about any customer feedback

- Updating invoices to send to customers

TYPICAL SCHEDULE

There is some schedule flexibility in this role, with the core duties occurring as follows:

- Approx 3-4 hours needed on Monday morning into early afternoon for sending sales email and organizing inventory at our taproom

- 8-16 hours needed on Wednesday and Thursday for setting up and updating invoices, setting up a delivery route, and picking up beer and delivering to customers

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience

Work Location: On-site and driving around San Francisco/Bay Area with company vehicle
