Looking to fill a delivery driver position for a Richmond based laundry service. Paid by the hour, $19.18. Shift days are Tuesdays and Thursdays every week. You will need to be available in the mornings typically around 8/9 to 1 pm. Some days you may not need to come in until later. It may be possible that we do deliveries as early as 6/7 am. Around 20-25 hours a month on average. Potential for more hours as the business grows or for other roles within the business like the attendant role. Experience driving in San Francisco preferred but not required.
Duties will include:
- Driving our delivery van around San Francisco
- Using an app to perform your duties. The app tells you what stops to make that day, where they are and what time to be there. So you must be comfortable using it.
- Receiving/Returning bags to customers directly which could include using stairs or elevators
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Clean and pleasant demeanor/customer service forward personality
- Good communication skills. You will interact with customers in person and over the phone at times.
- On time and good with logistics
- Okay with pickup up bags that can weight up to 40-50 pounds. Bags of that size don't happen regularly but you will be moving bags throughout each shift.
