Title: Warehouse / Driver
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Driver to join our team. The Warehouse / Driver will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, pick up products from different vendors, transferring products to our other Showrooms, and delivering products promptly to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming stock and materials
Pick and fill orders from stock
Pack and ship orders
Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
Assist with other warehouse and Showroom tasks as needed
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
Follow routes and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
Complete logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
Ability to lift heavy objects
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate warehouse equipment ( Propane and/or Electric Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Scissor Lift and etc. )
Basic computer skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation
Experience in handling large Natural Stone and Engineered Slabs is a PLUS
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
Valid professional driver’s license
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a warehouse and drive in environment with varying conditions and temperatures
Work Environment:
Warehouse and driving environment with varying temperatures
Fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
May be required to work overtime
Schedule:
Monday - Friday : 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturdays are a must : 9:30am - 4:30am ( in Warehouse )
