A San Francisco Bay Area communications and design firm seeks an experienced WordPress developer for full-custom site builds for global non-profit clients. Must deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and efficient implementations of world-class design.
This is a remote contract position, but availability to collaborate during Pacific Time (PST) hours is required.
You’ll manage development from setup to launch, working with our team and clients to ensure smooth integration, quality, and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with custom WordPress theme development (no templates)
- Strong in PHP, JS, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive front-end builds
- Skilled with ACF, Gutenberg/Block Editor, CPTs, and performance optimization
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and communicative
