Financial Analyst Needed!Job DescriptionAs a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for ongoing review and reporting of sales and margins of the programs. You will provide support to the management team in building forecasts and annual budgets, and support the preparation and financial obligations of the strategic 5-year plan. Additionally, you will handle all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, support headcount forecasting and reporting, and lead all month-end GM analytics and costing processes.Responsibilities
Conduct variance analysis based on actuals, spend plans, and trends, and partner with the leadership team to identify issues and opportunities.
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports for the management team.
Prepare monthly cost reports in accordance with contract requirements on specific contracts.
Assist with month-end close duties.
Essential Skills
3+ years of financial analytics experience in a manufacturing-based business.
Experience with month-end analytics.
Experience preparing monthly reporting.
Variance analysis experience based on actuals, spend plans, and trends.
ERP experience (any).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to results.
Proactive, creative, and innovative thinker with critical and strategic thinking skills.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to communicate both written and verbally.
Experience with project accounting.
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector preferred.
Costing experience is highly valued.
Work EnvironmentThis role is fully in-office. The team works a 9/80 schedule, which includes 9-hour days from Monday to Thursday (starting between 7:30-8:30am), every other Friday off, and an 8-hour day on the Friday that is worked.
