Job Summary:Reviews customer/industry/internal specifications to ensure compliance with stated requirements. Provides technical support to operations, customers, suppliers, and program managers as needed. Support and lead special processes and customer audits. Provide training and coaching to others as required.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Production order ReleaseProduction Order MaintenanceMRP Messages Tracker/Milestone Creation and MaintenanceReviews Production schedules and plant capacity data to determine processes, tools and machines to be used.Modifies schedules to handle unexpected delays. Monitor and control all material movements to maintain the integrity of production schedules.Reviews production specifications and plant capacity dataKeeps management and contracts informed of critical status.Provides status on customer orders and generates monthly forecasts.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Education & Experience:Preferred: BS or BA degree from 4 - year college or universityRequired: High School Degree with related experience and/or trainingDesirable Working Knowledge or Certifications:Ability to read and interpret documents2 years in a production planning capacity with manufacturing and production control experience, preferably in an aerospace environment. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.Strong understanding of MRPFamiliarity with scheduling tools such as waterfall chartsScheduling and managing outside process suppliers.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The pay scale for this position ranges from $70,000- $90,000 annually.
